Shepherd's Pie

1 can of biscuits or 1 recipe of any biscuit
1 pound of good ground chuck steak
med onion
garlic to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1 can of any cream soup....(cream of mushroom, celery, tomato, cheese ...really depends on your taste)
cheese of any kind to your taste (optional)
2 cups of mashed potatoes like you would fix to put on the table (salt, pepper and milk)

First brown meat in skillet. Add onion and garlic. After the meat is brown and the onions are transparent (not burnt), stir in the can of soup and set aside.

Peel potatoes, cook and mash them, then set aside also.

You may spray oil in bottom of 13" x 9" the biscuit dough in pan. Press the dough up on sides a little but not to the top.

Pour the meat and soup mixture on top of the dough.

You may add cheese slices here if you like to make it very cheesy, whatever your taste is.

Spread mashed potatoes on the meat mixture...all over the pan.

Now you may also add more cheese or paprika....this is optional.

Bake this dish as the biscuit recipe calls for, the rest is already all you are baking are the biscuits.

Serve this dish hot or warm.

Note: Sometimes I use corn bread for bottom and add chili instead of soup. Also I add a can of peas or corn with any soup. This dish can be different every night of the week. You may add any of your favorite spices to meat mixture also. I like to add worcestershire sauce sometimes. Never can hurt this dish.
