TO MY CAT PAGE After raising numerous - and I do mean numerous cats - I now find myself with four orange tabbies. This is the first time in a long time that I have different colors also. My favorite cat has always been a completely black cat with no white at all.....also all gray or all white. In other words, solid color cats with black being my favorite. All that has changed now. I have heard that orange tabbies ALL have warm, friendly, loving personalities. I do believe that now. These are the sweetest cats I have ever owned and I have owned some darn sweet cats.....*smile*. Before I show you my babies I have to pay tribute to one that has left me and I still miss her so much. Her name was Sweetpea and she appeared here 5 years ago <Feb>. She was sick and needing a loving home. It is hard for me to describe her so fortunately I do have pictures of her. Bare in mind that she full grown she only weighed 4' 3 oz. which is what a normal 4 month old kitten would weigh. Maybe that is why I still miss her so.....she was my perpetual kitten. Please click here and you can see several pictures of her. My oldest cat was born Sept. 25, 1997, on my mothers birthday, so he is very special. His name is Pumpkin. He is a pale orange tiger cat. This cat had the energy of 3 kittens when he was in kittenhood and could get into as much trouble as 3 of them without even trying. The picture you will see when you click here is of him sleeping when he was a kitten. Remember when viewing this picture, that this is a rare moment and that is why I have it on film. Most kittens play with things that move, Pumpkin makes things move so he can play with them. I have included some pictures of him playing with a mouse. The mouse scampered across the street when he and Sweetpea got bored with their little game to live happily <I think> forever. There is also a picture of him napping on the couch.
My other cat was one of two that I got last year. They were brothers. I named them Boots and Sunny. Sunny was killed by a car last May. Boots is an orange tabby but very pale and no stripes or spots. Both brothers had 7 toes on ALL FOUR FEET. I have pictures of them on this page....click here..... that show how they have grew ....first into their ears and then trying to grow into their feet. . Boots was the smaller of the two but don't let that fool you.....he never gives an inch to his fellow roomies.

The end of July, 1999 I got my two new kittens. They are brothers and also orange tabbies. They are classic tabbies with the marble effect in their coats. I named them OBee....short for Orange Blossom and Marmey....short for Marmalade. They are wonderful......I can't begin to tell you how sweet and loving they are. I have some pictures of them here. OBee has a little white on his chest and white paws and Marmey has no white on him at all.

Everyone knows cats do not have to be bathed but on that rare occasion when it must be done please read this procedure that should be followed.....also I have included a picture of what your cat might look like after the bath.
