piece that she had picked up at a garage sale. It was in ugly condition. She had been to a ceramic show I did and saw my gold technique and wondered if I would apply that to this piece. She said she had fallen in love with it but knew it had to be redone. This woman's skin was yellow and she looked about 8 months pregnant. Her age looked like she was in her 60's. She disclosed that she had liver cancer and was leaving for FL shortly and that would probably not be back. I glanced at her husband and his eyes said "Please do whatever she wants". Although I was extremely busy at the time, I agreed to do the piece. She loved it and I have never seen her again.
