Turkey Patty with Sweet-Sour Pineapple Sauce

1 pound ground turkey 2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup finely chopped water chestnuts
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced sweet-sour pineapple sauce (see below)
 
Mix together turkey, water chestnuts, garlic and soy sauce in medium bowl.  Shape into four 1/2" thick patties.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.

Add patties and cook 10-12 minutes, or until no longer pink, turning once.

Serve with sauce.
 

Sweet-Sour Pineapple Sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon corn starch 1 can (8 oz) crushed (or tidbits) pineapple
1/2 cup orange juice     in juice, undrained
1 tablespoon cider vinegar 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan.  Gradually add orange juice and stir until smooth.  Add vinegar, ketchup, and pineapple, cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.  Stir in onion.
Makes 1 1/2 cups
