My Pet Geese
Several years ago I raised poultry. I had 200 laying
hens, 50 bantams, 14 guinea hens, 50 turkeys, 2 dozen ducks, and 6 geese. I
think those had to be some of the best times that I have enjoyed in my lifetime.
I could certainly write a book about the fun I experienced. Of course the best
part were raising the babies. But times changed and events changed , so now I
have my 3 geese left as remembrances of those days gone by. Their names are Snow
White, Prince Charming and Charlie. I don't have pictures of them but the ones
below will give you an idea of what they look like. There is a brook in the
backyard which gives them lots of enjoyment and I get to enjoy their antics. I
